From the exciting cosmopolitan city of Istanbul, to the beautiful beaches and resorts on the Mediterranean and Aegean coasts, to the unique landscapes of Pammukale and Cappadocia, Turkey has it all.

The mixture of Sand, Sea and Sun is what attracts many to Turkey for holidays, a 2nd home or retirement and relocation.  However upon arrival many fall in love with Turkey as a country and the people, the Turkish people are amongst the warmest and most welcoming of any society and lifelong friendships build at a rapid pace.  It is a country that comprises lush green mountains, large lakes, rugged coast lines, beautiful beaches and wonderful crystal clear bays.

Turkey is rich in history, all around the country there are signs of the areas past, ancient roman ruins in Ephesus, Lycian ruins around the Fethiye area.  There are also many Biblical sites in Turkey such as the House of the Virgin Mary and Mount Ararat where Noah's Ark came to rest.  Saint Nicholas (Santa Claus) was even from Demre in Turkey.

Turkey is actually a secular country although 99% of the population are Muslim.  This give us plenty of beautiful mosques across the country, from the famous Blue Mosque in Istanbul to the local mosques that adorn the country and give the skyline that truly eastern feel and fill the air with life during the call to prayer.

Turkey is also the Mediterranean's most exciting property market with a wide variety of properties available in different areas to suit all needs. Whether it's a dream villa in the sun, a retirement home in a relaxing village, or an investment for the future, you will find it in Turkey.

There is so much to say about Turkey, however the best way to understand this country is to try it for yourself...

Kusadasi

Kusadasi

Kusadasi is probably one of Turkey's most popular resort towns and is known as a shoppers paradise.  There are 2 weekly markets one of Wednesday for general goods and one on Friday for fruit and vegetables.

Kusadasi has a number of beaches close to the town centre and for evening entertainment there are many restaurants, cafes and bars located along the harbour and palm-lined boulevard.

Within easy reach of both Bodrum and Izmir airports getting to kusadasi is no problem.  Nearby are some of the most spectacular sites within Turkey such as Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary, further the greek Island of Samos is just a 40 minute ferry ride away.

Bodrum

Bodrum

The bodrum peninsula comprises a number of resorts, there is bodrum itself and resorts such as Gümbet, Bitez and Turgutreis.  Bodrum offers something for everyone, from historical sites such as the famous Castle to a lively nightlife for those looking to dance the night away.

Bodrum is a boaters dream with a large marina and plenty of bays and beaches to explore, there are also a number of daily tours available around the area.

Marmaris

Marmaris

Marmaris is another of Turkey's very popular resorts and it is easy to see why.  The old town with its narrow streets and busy bazaar shoppers will believe they have found heaven.  With a long beach lined with palm trees make the ideal location for relaxing in the glorious Turkish sunshine.  Further with many restaurants, bars, cafes and clubs throughout the town and along the sea front there is something for everyone in Marmaris.

Marmaris is well known as a sailors paradise, with 3 marinas it is a popular starting point for many cruises along the Turkish Coast line.  There are also many offering day trips around the bays near Marmaris, in particular Cleopatra Island is a must see trip, here the sand is said to be the best in the world and is actually protected as such.

Dalaman

Dalaman

Dalaman, most well known for the Airport but offers much much more.  Dalaman itself appeals to many as a typically Turkish Town, for the more adventurous there is white water rafting on the Dalaman River.  The Dalaman and the nearby Sarigerme areas are becoming Turkeys next golfing destination with the construction of new Golf courses.  There is also the popular sailing resort of Göcek close by ideal for exploring the areas wonderful coastline full of beautiful and peaceful coves.

Close by we find other typically Turkish towns such as Köyceğiz and Dalyan which are separated by the Köyceğiz Lake.  The area is truly a natural wonder, the protected IzTuzu beach where the loggerhead Turtle nest each year, the large Köyceğiz lake connected to the sea by the Dalyan Canal and the popular Amber forests.

Antalya

The Turkish Riviera awaits you!  One of the warmest areas of Turkey with a season that lasts from April to October Antalya is the sun seekers paradise, further it is said that in March and April it is possible to sky in the mornings and swim in the sea in the afternoon.

Nearby are many places of interest such as golf in Belek, the rugged coast line along to Kas and Kalkan, the historic ruins in Side, the impressive waterfall at Manavgat and of course the dreamscape that is Cappadocia within easy reach.
